Kindred Thoughts Bookstore

Bookstores are community investments that offer an unlimited upside.

As a creator I feel very fortunate to work on projects that genuinely mean something to me, and that will have a positive impact on my community. I had the opportunity to close the year by working with a newly opened bookstore in my hometown. (Bridgeport, CT)

On December 30th I spent a few hours with the team behind Kindred Thoughts Bookstore, a Black owned bookstore that offers titles from authors of various backgrounds who cover a variety of topics. This project is special to me because Kindred Thoughts is the first full service bookstore to open in Bridgeport in a very long time, and I’m really looking forward to seeing them become a fixture in the community and destination for new and classic titles.
