The Installation

The art is in the curation. How we experience things is sometimes more important than the experience itself. 

I had the opportunity to document the installation of an exhibition that recently opened at the Housatonic Museum of Art. 

The exhibit is titled “From The Concrete I Rose”, it was produced in partnership by RYASAP and the HMA. The collection of work was largely produced by a group of students, with a few pieces from their teachers/mentors. I highly recommend checking out the exhibits site to understand the concept as well as the artists.

This was my first time documenting a museum gallery installation, as an artist it was a very informative and engaging experience.
