Keep It Brief
Less is more, I’m learning that I can tell the same story better with less photos and occasionally less words.
Things seem to be moving pretty quickly these days with the demolition that’s happening downtown. I’m interested to see what happens with this section of Main Street, I’m hoping that we’re going see some additional restaurants and retail stores come into the community.
Quickly, IMO, means that dramatics changes are happening week over week. The demolition on these buildings started like 5 years ago and now we’re seeing day over day progress.
It’s a bit challenging to not talk about Coronavirus, but this photo was made just as the state of Connecticut enacted its “Stay at home” policy. The streets were pretty empty, but honestly downtown Bridgeport isn’t the busiest city on Sundays. There was some isolated activity at the playhouse and at the local hotel, probably th brunch crowd.
These selects are my interpretation of current events, old structures are being demolished and new ways of operating are emerging, and we’re observing the changes as they occur in real time.
Peace!
