Stratford Airfield Vol. 1

Stratford Airfield Vol. 1

This is one of those locations that I always forget about when I have free time to go create, but I always remember when I’m literally too busy to grab my camera. It’s been on my mind to come here for about a year and a half, thankfully a friend mine moved around the corner from this place — making this session possible.

The Stratford Airfield has an over abundance of photogenic areas, I mean it’s a collection of hangers and runways that’s litered with small flight crafts. It also happens to be right across from an old, possibly defunct military office, which really adds intrigue to the whole scene.

The gates were open, I didn’t see any “trespasser’s beware” signage, but my instincts told me to stay on the side walk, I wasn’t looking for any unnecessary conversations. (Except for across the street at the military offices, see the photo the left.)

I’m really happy with this collection of photos, and I’ll definitely be going back to the airfield to create more photographs.
