The Watchers
Sometimes it's better to let the images speak for themselves, to let people come to their own conclusions.
Art is subjective, overall how we see things is subjective, based on the experiences we've had and what's going on in the world around us.
Every time I look at these photos I wonder what was going through their minds, what were they expecting to happen, and how they felt about the energy of that moment.
To give you context, these photos were taken right outside of Bryant Park in Manhattan in the fall of 2015. A protest was happening, people were marching in support of social injustice, pick a topic and someone was there representing that issue.
The energy was absolutely intoxicating, emotions were high among both the protesters and the cops.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on these photos...
Peace,
Brandon
