DOUGHNUTs, a knead not a want

Who knew that going vegan would introduce me to the best donuts I’ve ever had, seriously who would think that would be the true victory of going meatless?

Long story less long, during my time as a vegan I was in Providence for a long weekend with my Wife, we were looking for something sweet and Knead Doughnuts came up in my search for vegan doughnuts. (I’m no longer vegan, I gave it all up for duck tacos)

I honestly can’t describe how delicious the doughnuts are without sounding like a complete weirdo, but how does anyone creatively/passionately describe a sweet breakfast treat without sounding a bit odd? All I can say is that they don’t miss, not a single bad doughnut on the menu, or cookie for that matter.

This set of photos was completely spontaneous, we traveled into PVD for the day just to hang out and hit a few restaurants. The Knead location we typically hit had closed for the day, some fast googling routed us to an alternate location we’d never been to before and it was a pleasant surprise.

Thankfully I just didn’t leave my camera in the car, I guess photographer’s intuition told me to bring it with me.
