Friendsgiving Farmhouse
There’s no time like the present, and there’s no present like time.
The most beautiful byproduct of having children is starting new traditions and creating long lasting family memories. This was the weekend of our first Friendsgiving, we reconnected with friends who became family. We’re all super metropolitan people, very much accustomed to the bright lights and ambient sounds of city life and so we felt it would be great for the kids to bring them out into country. Funny enough, if you’re in New England, the moment you leave the city limits you actually start venturing into the country. In the amount of time it takes to drink a medium coffee you could leave a city filled with skyscrapers, cabs, bodegas and restaurants, and be in farm country with cows and horses all over the place.
For this trip we ventured north to Vermont, to a large farmhouse that offer views of the mountains and walking trails into woods. Ideally I would’ve included more photos of the farmhouse, but I wasn’t faster than 3 kids who really wanted to release of the bottled up energy from a 4 hour car ride. I really loved the warmth of the wood fixtures and soft leather furniture, it made for really cozy evenings.
Hope you enjoy these photos!
