Elizabeth Park Conservancy

Elizabeth Park Conservancy

Occasionaly the best thing to do is figure it out on your way there.

We've made lemonade out of the lemons we've been handed since we're not able to go anywhere domestically or travel abroad, we thought it would be best to do a tour of Connecticut. We've always heard really nice things about West Hartford and I've been seeing a lot of interesting restaurants and cafes through Instagram that are all located in the Hartford area so we decided to pack it all up, loaded the stroller in trunk and hit by I-91 North for the day.

The Elizabeth Park Conservancy was an ideal location considering how large the park actually is, we felt pretty comfortable with being there knowing that we wouldn't really come in close contact with anyone.

I wasn't really expecting to fall in love with West Hartford the way I did, it was great to see all of a BLM signage in the front yards of some many homes. There is an abundance of restaurants, cafes and mom & pop shops scattered around the city. Although I never really planned to become a suburban person, Hartford really isn't a suburb it's a city, this is one area I could see myself entertaining as a place to live just based on the amount of things my family and I could get into at any given moment.

I hope you've enjoyed the photos.

Peace.
