Birthday Kicks

They say it's not the gift but the thought that counts, I say, if you really thought long and hard about the gift then it should count too!

My Wife has always been an amazing gift giver, I think it's because she's extremely observant, she picks up on the subtleties so effortlessly.  We've been together for over 14 years and at this stage in our life we’re pretty much minimalist, so when it comes to giving gifts I'm always surprised and amazed at what she presents to me. 

This year she surprised me with one of the most personalized and unique gifts that I've ever received. Knowing how much I love my name as well as how much I love sneakers this year she put both of them together and gave me a pair of Nike ID Blazers monogramed with my initials on the heal tab.
